Abstract: Addressing socio-economic disparities in vocational education outcomes is crucial for promoting equitable access and ensuring all students have equal opportunities for success. This study examines the factors contributing to disparities in vocational education outcomes among socio-economically diverse student groups, focusing on identifying barriers, exploring interventions, and fostering inclusive practices. Objectives include assessing the impact of socio-economic status on educational attainment in vocational programs, exploring students' perceptions of barriers to success, and identifying effective strategies for mitigating disparities. A survey research design is chosen to gather data from 300 participants, including vocational educators, students from varying socio-economic backgrounds, and educational policymakers, using purposive sampling to ensure representation across diverse socio-economic groups in Lagos State. Case studies will highlight vocational institutions implementing successful strategies to address socio-economic disparities, illustrating effective interventions and their impact on student achievement. Findings indicate that socio-economic factors significantly influence vocational education outcomes, with disparities in access to resources, support systems, and career opportunities affecting student success. Recommendations emphasize targeted interventions such as financial aid programs, mentorship initiatives, and career counseling services to support socio-economically disadvantaged students and promote equitable outcomes in vocational education.
